A Day in the Boots of a NOCO Energy Service Professional

Early Morning Start

My day as a NOCO service technician begins before sunrise. As I pull into our facility at 6:00 AM, the morning frost still covers the ground. After checking my service schedule and loading up necessary equipment, I’m ready to head out to help customers across Western New York.

Morning Rounds

First stop: propane tank inspection and refill in Tonawanda. Safety is our top priority, so I meticulously check all connections and perform leak tests. Winter in Buffalo means our residential customers depend on reliable fuel delivery to keep their homes warm.

Mid-Day Service Calls

By noon, I’m in Lockport performing routine HVAC maintenance. These preventative checks are crucial for:
– System efficiency
– Equipment longevity
– Energy cost savings
– Indoor air quality

Afternoon Emergency Response

After lunch, I receive an urgent call about a commercial heating system in Akron. Quick response times are essential, especially during the cold season. Our customers rely on us to keep their businesses running smoothly.

End of Day

As the sun sets, I complete my final service call in Buffalo. Before heading back to base, I ensure all paperwork is properly filed and my vehicle is prepared for tomorrow’s challenges.

Working at NOCO means being part of a team that keeps Western New York’s homes and businesses comfortable and energy-efficient year-round. Every day brings new opportunities to serve our community and solve unique energy challenges.

Safety First

Throughout each day, safety remains our constant focus. From proper handling of propane to careful HVAC diagnostics, we follow strict protocols to protect our customers and team members.

Our commitment to service excellence means staying current with industry best practices and maintaining the highest standards in energy service delivery across all our locations.
